My workshop page |
Here ar a selection of photo's showing my workshop. I wish I was born with a 'tidy' gene but it wasn't to be so I work hard (and constantly fail!) at trying to be tidy. This is a genuine WYSIWYG view of my home from home. |
I have a detached double garage. One side has an en-suite facility at one end (the reason why I bought the property was the garage set up and not the bungalow! Don't tell the wife! |
On one side I have my Milling machine, Myford ML10 lathe, the larger Chinese variable speed motor lathe (with DRO's) a floor standing piller drill, the polishing/sanding area. At the end there are two benches, one home made from 1" square tube, and the other bought. On the right hand side there is another bench which is used all the time. Next to that is my compressor, feeding a retractable airline. With a space between come the two sets of tool boxes with tool chests on the top. I bought all of these on eBay as damaged items at a much reduced price. The damage is not significant, more knocks and scrapes when delivered to the original customers. On the wall by the en-suite is my Warco bandsaw and a portable heater. The garage has a dividing wall which seperates the workshop from the garage proper. Here I keep my Jaguar 340, a 1969 model with power steering and an automatic gearbox. You can just see the front of her on the Fowler page. |
